Crane Aerospace & Electronics Introduces New 120 Watt DC-DC Converters Tailored for Aerospace and Defense Use
Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a division of Crane Co., recently unveiled its latest 120-watt power conversion product line, named Interpoint xMOR. This new lineup consists of four distinct DC-DC converter models, each built on a common foundational design but tailored to meet the specific requirements of varied segments within the aerospace and defense sectors.
The xMOR family by Crane A&E comprises the cMOR (Hi-Rel COTS), hMOR (Class H high-reliability), sMOR (Class K deep space), and rMOR (new space) power converters. The cMOR converter provides high reliability for standard aerospace and defense uses as a commercial off-the-shelf product. With its Class H certification, the hMOR serves the most demanding defense projects, offering superior efficiency. The sMOR is ideal for deep space explorations, boasting Class K certification, top-notch performance, and a versatile 19-50 V input range. Lastly, tailored for the burgeoning New Space sector, the rMOR delivers up to 92% efficiency, designed with a radiation-resistant framework proven up to 30 krad and 43 MeV.
